Ortho® WeedClear™ Weed Killer for Lawns Concentrate allows you to eliminate weeds without damaging your lawn when used as directed. This weed killer effectively targets and destroys over 250 common lawn weeds, including dandelions, clover, poison ivy, chickweed, and dollarweed (consult product label for full weed list). Specially formulated for residential lawns, the formula contains three proven weed-killing agents that specifically target and eradicate prevalent lawn weeds without harming the grass.

The herbicide works by penetrating weed leaves and moving throughout the entire plant to kill down to the root. You'll see visible results within hours, and it becomes rainproof just one hour after application when dry. As a concentrated product, it must be diluted with water before use. For Northern lawns, mix 2 fl. oz. per gallon of water for every 500 sq. ft. of coverage. For Southern lawns, use a dilution of 1 fl. oz. per gallon of water. Easily apply the diluted solution using an Ortho® Dial N Spray® or a tank sprayer.

For optimal results, apply the product when weeds are young and actively growing, typically in the spring or fall when temperatures are below 90°F. One 1-gallon bottle can treat up to 64,000 sq. ft. of lawn area. After application, people and pets may safely re-enter the treated zone once the spray has fully dried.
